Italeri AC-119K Stinger (1:72)

A Fairchild C-119 type aircraft was converted into a “flying fighter” by the US Air Force for use during night missions in Vietnam. The AC-119 K variant had two 20mm guns and four 7.62mm miniguns to attack trucks. The AC-119 G had less powerful weapons and additional jet engines to take off heavily loaded from short runways. These aircraft were later replaced by the AC-130H and were transferred to the South Vietnamese Air Force until the fall of Saigon.
