Metal Earth 1965 Ford Mustang
Entered a new class of cars known as the pony car. The revolutionary design with its long hood and short deck was wildly popular and, according to Ford, 22,000 orders were taken the day it debuted. The Mustang had a base 170-cubic-inch six-cylinder with a three-speed floor warmer transmission, full-wheel covers, bucket seats, carpeting and a padded dashboard, all for a base selling price of $2,320. An optional 260-cubic-inch V-8 engine was also available.
Metal Earth is made from small parts pre-cut with a laser into a thin metal sheet. First, remove all pre-cut parts from the metal sheet by cutting, twisting or folding. You can fully assemble this model from Metal Earth without glue. You can use point and cut pliers. Step-by-step assembly instructions are included.
