Metal Earth Big Ben Tower
Big Ben is the nickname for the great clock that hangs in the clock tower of the Palace of Westminster in London. Although today the name also refers to the clock and bell tower. The bell weighs nearly 14 tons and each dial is 7 meters in diameter. It became fully operational on September 7, 1859 and today is one of London’s most prominent symbols at a height of 96 meters. The clock must be wound three times a week and tokens are periodically added or removed from the pendulum clock to maintain accuracy.
Metal Earth is made from small parts pre-cut with a laser into a thin metal sheet. First, remove all pre-cut parts from the metal sheet by cutting, twisting or folding. You can fully assemble this model from Metal Earth without glue. You can use point and cut pliers. Step-by-step assembly instructions are included.
